If you're considering skiing in Japan for the first time this coming northern winter, you can not go Niseko in Hokkaido, northern Japan island.
Niseko is located approximately 2.5 hours drive from Sapporo New Chitose-airport. Finally, the up-and-coming center for the Niseko Hanazono Village. This area was purchased several years ago an Australian consortium and on time consisted of little more than a day center. Today is the hub of activity with restaurants, bars and a variety of accommodations.
